Questions
Licensing, plainly.
What does yearly include?
Every version released while the licence runs, every module update and support by email and phone. Renew each year to keep using Lumadex.
What does perpetual include?
The version you buy, yours to keep and use for as long as you like, with 12 months of updates and support. After that it keeps working; nothing expires.
How do perpetual upgrades work?
Lumadex Desktop upgrades to the latest version for $790, however long ago it was bought, with another 12 months of updates. Modules change when their Standards do, so a module upgrade is priced when its Standard is revised and offered to every perpetual owner at that time.
What is the difference between floating and network seats?
A floating seat is held by our licence service and moves between your authorised computers; a computer can borrow it for up to 48 hours to work offline. A network seat is issued by a Lumadex licence server that runs on your own network, so seats never need the internet and your IT team sets the borrowing limits. Only Lumadex Desktop changes price: a floating seat costs 25 percent more than a computer seat and a network seat 40 percent more, which includes the licence server. Modules cost the same in every mode.
Can I move from yearly to perpetual?
Yes. Within the first 12 months, half of what you paid for yearly comes off the perpetual price.
Are there discounts for more seats?
Five or more seats of the same product take 10 percent off; ten or more take 15 percent. Ask us for a quote.
Can we try it first?
Yes. We will set up a trial around one of your own sites, with a demonstration if you would like one.
Is GST included?
No. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added for purchases within Australia.
